Following on last year’s ‘One Book, One Community’ initiative, this year’s launch took place today. Pupils and parents from all the local schools gathered to listen to readings from the book “Taking Sides” by Brian Gallagher and to meet the author.”Taking Sides’ which is set at the time of the Civil War  is a follow-on from last year’s book “Across the Divide” which was based around the 1913 Lockout.
