Dear Parents,

• Anybody fancy a walk? As part of our Green School campaign we’ve got to take the lads on a walk so we’ve pencilled in Wednesday at 11.00 to go on a walk along the seafront towards Clontarf. If any parents would like to join us they’d be more than welcome I know there are plans afoot to start a parents’ walking group so this might be a good beginning!
• Rainforest presentation: Tomorrow (Tuesday) we have a group coming to the school to do an interactive presentation about the rainforests. Other schools tell me it’s excellent so we’re really looking forward to it; unfortunately it’s quite expensive so I have to ask for a contribution of €2 per pupil…..please!
• Fitness classes for parents – and others – continue on Saturdays at 12.00 for an hour. Mr. McGuinness takes the classes and uses ‘kettle bells’ (don’t ask me!) so if you’re willing to try something different….!
• Reminder, school closes at 1.15 on Wednesday.
