Due to many requests, here are the recipes from the parents’ cookery course.
Foolproof Brown Bread Farmhouse Vegetable Soup

180grms plain flour 2 small onions
340grms wholemeal flour 2 large carrots
2 level teaspoons bread soda 1 large parsnip

1 pint of buttermilk half a cauliflower
