My name is Tiarnán Crowe and I was very honoured and privileged to be appointed Principal of St Joseph’s Primary School in the Summer of 2023. I am incredibly passionate about education and hold a particular love and personal connection to this school. I have spent my entire career working in a DEIS school and strive to provide each child with an opportunity to access every aspect of school life. I want to continue the fantastic traditions of this school and push forward develop this school further.

I would like to extend to you a warm welcome as you visit our school website. We hope as you explore it you will get a glimpse of the vibrant, fun filled and caring school community we have here in St Joseph’s.

My main goal, as Principal, is to provide a safe, inclusive environment where every single child has an opportunity to grow and develop, not just academically but personally as well. We place wellbeing at the forefront of everything we do here in St Joseph’s. We want every child to leave school each day feeling like they have truly achieved something, no matter how big or small that might be.

 I strive to create positive lasting relationship with pupils, staff and parents. I see parents as a true partner of the school. I firmly believe in the saying that “it takes a village or a community to raise a child” and want to work with parents to achieve the best outcomes for their children.
